Cascade Head Work Party

Cascade Head is a coastal promontory overlooking the Pacific Ocean that provides critical habitat for native prairie grasses, rare wildflowers, the threatened Oregon Silverspot Butterfly and the Cascade Head catchfly.

During this work party, volunteers will pull Canada thistle and collect native seed from the pinnacle, an area of the preserve that is closed to the public. The work includes a four to five-mile roundtrip hike with elevation gain and will require volunteers to hike off the trail and stand on uneven ground while working.
