2024 Impact Week raises 192% more than 2023!

Since 2021, SageSure, a leader in catastrophic property insurance, has partnered with Raised By Us to launch and grow their company-wide giving and employee engagement program. Impact Week is an annual event that brings employees across the company together to learn about and support a variety of causes.

Throughout the week, employees are encouraged to participate in RBU’s signature Get Up To Good GamesTM to unlock company charitable contributions, attend educational sessions, and utilize a special 2:1 match to catalyze the impact of their generosity.

The Project

For the 2024 campaign, the SageSure team wanted to increase participation amongst employees across markets, align Impact Week activities and beneficiaries with the company’s mission, and further incorporate Sagesure's active Employee Resource Groups as ambassadors - and they needed a turnkey solution that minimized internal lift.

The Results

In just a few days, employees directed over $61,000 to 130+ nonprofits, a 192% increase from the previous year. Participation soared thanks to gamification, generous matching, and a mission-aligned theme that connected giving to employees’ daily work.

Several factors contributed to this success:

  • Clear Goals and Communication: The SageSure social impact team set a clear objective for Impact Week and consistently communicated it to employees, creating a sense of shared responsibility and purpose.
  • Mission-Aligned Theme: This year’s event coincided with National Preparedness Month, highlighting disaster relief and related causes. The theme connected employees to SageSure’s mission and daily work, inspiring participation.
  • Employee Resource Groups as Ambassadors: ERGs hosted learning sessions open to all employees. Participation unlocked donation credits, encouraging engagement.
  • Generous Matching: SageSure implemented a 2:1 match, the top driver for employee involvement.
  • Gamification: Every component of Impact Week incorporated game mechanics to drive participation, engagement, and unlock contributions.
